The Fairview “premium” experience

I wanted to start this blog after 15 months of occupation of a prestige house from Fairview New Homes. After not having a single month without an issue , it was evident that the experiences my wife and I have had , needed to be publicised. We are now at a stage where we are going to be involving the NHBC and I thought that a blog from this point may be helpful to those who are considering purchasing a Fairview property and those about to involve the NHBC. I look forward to comments from all but especially the other 33 householders on my estate who have been subjected to the same premium standards of housebuilding that Fairview call ” Ashbourne Gardens” .

  1. I agree with Tony that this should take pride of place next to Fairview Homes on Google.

I don’t know where to start with Fairview. I am still dealing with them on a number of matters on my house and have had 17 months of torment with them so far. I will provide you with a month by month account of my experiences.
it started with the ’sell’. This was a high pressure event with the sales team continually harassing us for the sale, threatening to let the house go to other interested parties unless the deal was completed to tight deadlines. My advice to buyers is to negotiate very hard on price and do not succumb to this pressure, which was, as we found out later, completely fictitious. They told us things about the property which turned out later to be untrue. Watch this space for the next thrilling installment. Things get worse….much worse.
