Mortgage D day rapidly approaching
I need to finalise my decision on mortgage soon. The past 10 days or so has been spent getting information from mortgage providers, waiting for key facts documents to arrive through the post (in most cases — some of the providers let you download these from their website) and comparing against one another.

Had Becky from Orchard & Shipman over yesterday to do some measurements and take some photos. That took about 45 minutes. Fortunately I telecommute almost all the time, so this hasn’t been too much of a disruption.

I’ve just glanced up from the computer screen to look out at my front driveway and noticed that, at some point between crashing asleep last night and struggling into the office this morning, someone from a local estate agents has been round and stuck up a “For Sale” sign.
I guess that makes this all official…

Busy week
Well, that was a busy week.
After the Persimmon debacle we started looking at other new build homes again. After a considerable amount of hunting we’ve found a place on a development with Crest Nicholson (warning: Flash heavy website).
