“Almost there…”

The last of the mortgage paperwork came through yesterday, which means we’re now this > < close to exchanging contracts. The sticking point at the moment is the items that came up in the inspection report, and (a) how many of the findings Crest Nicholson agree with, and (b) what sort of timetable there’s going to be to remediate them. I’m not going to Exchange or set a Completion date until that’s resolved.


I forwarded a copy of the inspection report by e-mail to the sales manager I’ve been dealing with at Crest Nicholson. She’s now talking with their build team, and should be getting back to me later today.

I know they’re anxious to press on, because they’ve waived the requirement for a deposit. That’s
