Issue resolved
Laing came back to us pretty quickly. All a misunderstanding it seems. Apparently our side of the block only has 2 apartments per floor, so we wouldn’t need a second door. Funny this building regulations. Well, no changes to the apartment layout, so we’re happy bunnies.
Hear that Laing is arranging a site visit for new buyers mid-Oct. We get to put on hard hats and boots and go trooping round the site to view various stages of development. I think it’s brilliant, it’s really good to know what and how your house is being built. Not to mention checking out potential new neighbours.
