A confusing letter or just me being slow?
We’ve received a letter from Laing stating that they would normally give us a 28 day letter to completion, but are unable to now..

Issue resolved
Laing came back to us pretty quickly. All a misunderstanding it seems. Apparently our side of the block only has 2 apartments per floor, so we wouldn’t need a second door. Funny this building regulations. Well, no changes to the apartment layout, so we’re happy bunnies.

Postponed completion
Received a letter from Laing saying they’ve postponed completion. Anticipated completion date now: Mar/ Apr 2006!!! Geez.. No doubt we’re a little disappointed. We were told at first that the show home (which was burnt down in the fire) would not be rebuilt, but a ‘real apartment’ in the block will be done up as [...]

A few days after reservation, we were contacted to arrange two meetings. One with the site manager and another with Homestyle, the dept which deals with upgrades and options to our new home.
