Well, this is it, my first post. Me and my girlfriend put down 1,000 on a new house on Saturday 3rd June on a Crest Nicholson development in suffolk. We only got the house by chance as the person who had reserved the house (and paid the non-refundable 1,000) had to pull out as she could no longer afford it. We were in the right place at the right time and managed to get a link-detached 3 bed house (joined only by the garage) for 165,000 plus 5% deopsit paid by Crest.

We now have to find another 7,250 for the remainder of our 5% part of the deposit, giving us a total of 10% for our deposit.

Crest have been very professional so far and have answered all queries promptly and throughly.
