We are purchasing our first "new" home, currently due for completion in March 07. Having lived, for the past 2 yrs, in a 5yr old house, the benefits of a new (or at least newer) style house were clear for us to see. So when the opportunity/need to move arose, we decided to look for a "new" house.

Here’s the first entry on our new home blog.

We are purchasing our first “new” home, currently due for completion in March 07.

Having lived, for the past 2 yrs, in a 5yr old house, the benefits of a new (or at least newer) style house were clear for us to see. So when the opportunity/need to move arose, we decided to look for a “new” house.

The development is the “Kennet Heath” developement in Thatcham, Berkshire. It’s a shared site with Redrow, KingsOak and Barratt Homes all having a number of phases constructed.

I’ll endeavour to keep the blog updated so you can all see how our purchase of a new home progresses.
