We are purchasing our first "new" home, currently due for completion in March 07. Having lived, for the past 2 yrs, in a 5yr old house, the benefits of a new (or at least newer) style house were clear for us to see. So when the opportunity/need to move arose, we decided to look for a "new" house.

Friday WASN’T the day :(

This whole house selling lark is really getting to me now..

The buyers solicitor is USELESS, I’ve never had the experience of dealing with such an inept firm. They are hard to get hold of, never return my estate agents or my solicitors phone calls. They are always “with a client”, “out to a meeting”, “on the phone” etc you get the idea!!!


We’ve now been promised an exhange of contracts on Monday now. So I hope to god that we do!!!

We’ve already started the rental on our temporary home and moved some stuff in, in the hope that we were nearly there.

Cross your fingers again for us.
